It is said that your character is who you are when no one is looking at you. Jesus Christ exemplified godly character, and every Christian should aspire to being like him. In the phrase, “fruit of the spirit,” the spirit is the new nature that is born inside us when we are saved, and the fruit is the character traits of Jesus Christ, who was loving, joyful, peaceful, etc. This teaching covers what it takes to be like Christ, and briefly discusses each of the fruit of the spirit.
