  1. How happy do I usually feel? Somewhere between a 6-8. I don’t usually feel as happy as I’d like to feel. In fact, more often than not, I’m bored with my life.

Today though, I’m a 9. My husband just returned home from NYC yesterday. He was on a business trip and after 3-4 days without him, I’m ready for him to come back.

It’s been a lovely bit of alone time for me. I’m happy he’s back now though.

  2. I’m usually an 8. I don’t like drama, and when there’s no drama, that’s where I sit. When I’m surrounded by my friends, I go higher on the scale.

  3. I’m usually a 7 and would be higher if it wasn’t for back pain. Thanks for the giveaway!

  4. I’d say 7 or 8. I can be happy but since I’m not a morning person I’m usually just tired 🙂

  5. A 9 for me. I am happy almost all the time. Even with the bad economy, I find something to smile or laugh about every day. Thanks, I’ve enjoyed participating in this giveaway.

  6. Usually I’m a 9 or 10 but today I found out that six of our teachers are getting pink slips. So today I feel more like a 4.

  7. I would say on the happy scale I am consistently an 8. I sometimes worry too much about some people in my life and some of the problems they are dealing with so that is what is keeping me from being a 9 or 10. But in my life I have so much to be happy and thankful for and my wish for others that I love and care about to have the same is what sometimes makes me feel some sadness. Let’s say my compassion for others sometimes gets in my way, but not enough to detract from my quality of life! Hey, is everyone having a lucky Friday the 13th! I would say just being here and writing about our happiness is lucky enough!

  8. About a 7 or 8 🙂 Sometimes the stressors in my life can distract me from being happy 😦

  9. I would say I’m mostly an 8, that is due to my baby girl, She keeps me smiling and on my toes…

  10. I AM GENERALLY HAPPY MOST DAYS OF THE WEEK. SOMETIMES A BIT GRUMPY FOR THE FIRST HALF HOUR OF THE WAKING DAY!

  11. Not taking advantage or appreciating the years I was being homeschooled. Or not being closer to my mom, even though I had the opportunity.

  12. My only regret I would have to say is leaving more memories for my kids. Journaling helps with this but remember what they did or said at certain time can be priceless. Keep those memories alive.

  13. What’s one regret you live with?
Trusting the pediatricians who misdiagnosed my son and allowed him to die.

  14. I regret missing out on certain opportunities because I was too scared to try. It’s easier to stick with the tried and true and familiar, but you really limit yourself.

  15. Its minor but I sold a doll last year and I’ve regretted selling her for awhile…..eventually I hope I can replace her.

  16. I regret not adopting a very special dog that I saw in an animal shelter 22 years ago — I wish I had to this day.

  17. I have no regrets in life. I live with the motto, “Everything happens for a reason.”

  18. I regret that I didn’t go back to work when my daughter went to school. Now it’s been so long since I’ve worked that I’m scared to get out there.

  19. I’ll take a SWAK Embroidery or a Target certificate if I win first prize. Thank You!

  20. My only regret is a common one among single parents. Not having finished my college degree before having kids:)

  21. Sometimes I regret not making out with some of the people I could have when I was single, lol!

  22. I truly don’t have any regrets. I think I did what I needed to do although sometimes I wasn’t thrilled afterword. I think regrets waste your energy. Spend your time on today, not yesterday. Thanks for the contest. (I’ll take the Amazon cert)

  23. The only regret I can think of is not spending more time with my elderly relatives when I was young and not asking them more about their lives.

  24. What’s one regret you live with? That I didn’t finish what I stared when I was younger.

  25. I guess my biggest regret may be not controlling my weight. Losing and gaining over the years has been a battle. I am trying my best to lose the weight.

  26. Let’s face it, we all have regrets and some of them are huge and some are subtle little regrets that when you think about them they become greater than they really are! I am going to speak generally because some of my larger ones are way too embarassing, LOL! I regret not believing in myself at a much younger age that I can achieve all that I want in life. I only started having more confidence in myself when I turned 21 and graduated from college. But in my much younger years I had all kinds of self confidence and self esteem issues that I wish I had not had because now as a young adult I realize how trivial they were. I guess that is all part of the growing up process but I could have saved myself so much angst and sadness had I had believed in myself more and not worried so much about what others thought. Age = Wisdom!

  27. My greatest achievement is raising four children to be well adjusted, productive adults.

  28. Success means to me being secure (financially as well as emotionally), being loved and being happy. Not in this specific order.

  29. What success means to me is being able to pay bills, provide for your family and have happy healthy children

  30. success means being able to live comfortably and happily. You don’t want to regret what you have done with your life.

  31. Success means accomplishing my goals. It means trying my best at all times and not letting anyone bring me down. Success means being happy with who I am and what I have.

  32. Success for me is raising my boys to be well mannered, happy kids who have empathy and respect for others. Success is planting seeds of faith in my family and helping those seeds grow. Success is being the Rachel that God wants me to be.

  33. Success means believing that you have truly done a good job and a service to yourself and others, even when the news is not pleasant or the goals are not exactly what you thought they would be!

  34. Success to me is when you have accomplished something whether it is a large or small task. Just as long as you finished it, that’s success.

  35. Loving and enjoying your life and keeping it full of goals, dreams and activities you are passionate about and then striving to achieve those goals and dreams is what success means to me. Always working towards your goals and being able to overcome obstacles and adversity along the way is how I measure success, and not allowing bumps along the road to keep you from meeting and fulfilling your dreams.

  36. Success means being able to sleep at night knowing you have made the day a little better for someone you love.

  37. If I was invisible for one day, I would go to all the meetings that the President of the US had.

  38. If you could be invisible for one day, what would you do? I would go see how the people win the jackpots on the slots at the Casino 🙂 Thanks for the chance!

  39. Oh wow, so many things…. I guess I’d do the same as you, see how my kids act when I am not around.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  40. If you could be invisible for one day, what would you do?
I’m not sure, I don’t think I would like to be invisible. I guess I would go out and “see what I could see” but I think it would be creepy and not fun.

  41. If I could be invisible for one day, I would become the ultimate prankster. It would be awesome

  42. If I could be invisible, I’d sit in the oval office for the day and see exactly what goes on! I would probably be sorry.

  43. I’d spy on my husband and children to see how they behave when I’m not around!!

  44. Invisible for the day. I would get on an airplane and travel to Washington, DC. I would love to hear what is going on in the White House behind closed doors. I know I have hope for our country and I hope I’d hear it in the White House.

  45. If I could be invisible for a day, I would love to get on a plane and go visit my sister for a month in California! But then, I would have to become invisible again to get back home. I guess I’ll have to snoop on my children for a day, that would be more realistic!

  46. My greatest achievement? Probably my chemistry degree. There were times I felt like giving up and switching majors, but I stuck with it and finished.

I hope that in the future I will be able to have something else I can consider to be a greatest achievement.

  47. Invisible for a day?

I’d listen to my bosses and see what’s being said about me. I know I say a lot about them!

  48. Invisible – I would probably use it to allay all my stupid insecurities about work and my relationships with my husband and friends. That way after my day of invisibility I could go on without worrying so much about everything. :))))

  49. I’d sit in on the Secretary of Treasurer’s ‘HEAD’ sessions and find out what his real strategy is.

  50. If I were invisible, I’d sit in the backyard and get up close to all the wildlife. That would be fun!

  51. I performed with the Chicago Symphony as a soloist (piano) when I was eleven years old.

  52. My biggest accomplishment so far in my life is being a homeschool teacher. Teaching my children at home is not easy. I sometimes feel it’s harder than being a classroom teacher but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’ve been homeschooling for five years and don’t plan to stop!

  53. My greatest achievement, other than raising three great sons and getting a master’s degree while teaching full-time, is…losing 90 lbs. and keeping it off (+ or – 15 lbs.) for five years.

  54. I went back to college for my AS in Early Childhood Education when I was in my 40’s

  55. I own and operate a foster home for disabled adults who have no other place to live. Two of my ladies are blind and another lady is mentally retarded.

  56. My greatest achievement is having been married for 25 years this year, and we are both still happy!

  57. I’m still young so I really can’t think of something that could be considered my greatest achievement. Although I am amazed I stay awake some days 😉

  58. I have to say that I am most proud of the little things I do every once in a while to make a stranger’s day better, paying someone’s fare, buying someone a coffee. I try to do something random at least once a month-it makes me feel great!

  59. My greatest achievement is still to come. Even though I am battling MS, my husband and I are still putting in a home orchard.

  60. My greatest achievement was winning an essay contest about 5 years ago. I won $5,000. I was more excited that someone thought my writing was grand prize worthy.

  61. My greatest achievement is probably graduating from college with a 4.0 GPA (not that it matters in the real world, unfortunately!) My husband would probably say my greatest achievement is putting up with him for 28 years–LOL.

  62. My greatest achievement is earning a Master’s Degree and having a successful career.

  63. My greatest achievement was landing my dream job after college and working doing something I was passionate about and truly found joy in going to work each and everyday. So many of my friends have great jobs that they absolutely hate and when we get together all they do is complain about the hours, their co-workers, their bosses, the workloads, the dynamics of the company they work for an so on, get over it already! I did not feel any of those things and feel I was so blessed to have been able to find a job that truly made me want to go into work everyday and give it 200%! I worked as a Graphic Artist for a small advertising company and loved every minute of it. I had to take a leave of absence because I am busy caring for 3 young children but the door is always open for me to go back there when the time is right!

  64. I think my greatest achievement would be working on one job for 33 years. Now that I am retired, I have more time to devote to my community as a volunteer at our local Community Center working with our youth.

  65. I would say it was being ginormous pregnant while building our house!!!! We worked so hard to get into it before she was born……but missed it by 3 months!!!!

    127

  66. Greatest achievement – probably rebuilding the house after the fire. That was one hard year to get through.

    126

  67. My greatest achievement besides being a mother of four grown productive children is being a master gardener after retirement.

    125

  68. My greatest achievement was caring for my mother. She fought cancer and lost the battle. I miss her so much.

  69. My favorite ice cream brand is Mayfield. My favorite flavor is Rocky Road!

  70. any kind of lactose free icecream since I am lactose intolerant….glad to have anything!

  71. My fav is ed’s strawberry bars they are soooo good i clear them out at the store

  72. brand – Bluebell
flavor – homemade vanilla, peaches and homemade vanilla, strawberries and homemade vanilla, butter pecan, pecan pralines ‘n’ cream, moo-lineum crunch, chocolate chip cookie dough, cookies’n’ cream, you get the idea!

  73. The only kind of ice cream that I like is my husband’s homemade peach. Thanks for the giveaway!

  74. I like Pierre’s chocolate chip ice cream, because they use tiny little chocolate shavings instead of pieces of chocolate. yummy!

  75. I love Breyers Mint Chocolate Chip. There is nothing more refreshing on a nice warm day or evening than a bowl or cone of this! I never get sick of it!

  76. They don’t make my favorite anymore: Ruggles Chocolate Marshmallow. I have to buy my store brand Chocolate Marshmallow now.

  77. My favorite ice cream is Melody Farms Moose Tracks. It has swirls of dark chocolate and mini peanut butter cups blended in it. It is so yummy!

  78. Depends on who the hug is from! From immediate family and dear friends, definitely! From someone I hardly know? YUCK! 🙂

  79. Sometimes I am a hugger and sometimes not. Depending on the circumstances or the person. I hug family more than co-workers.

  80. Family is always hugged, whether they want it or not. Whether I hug non-family depends on the other person. One of my best friends I never hug, the other I hug every time I see her.

  81. I am a hugger, especially when it comes to my family and friends and folk I’ve know a long time.

  82. Are you a hugger, or a non-hugger? Why? I am a hugger of my husband and kids, in fact I can’t get enough of hugs from my little ones. But I am not into hugging anyone else, even friends. It just feel weird, like an invasion of personal space.

  83. I’m a “part-time” hugger, I love to hug family, friends, etc — but don’t want random people hugging me!

    autumn398 (at) yahoo.com

  84. I guess I am a sometimes hugger. If someone starts crying I immediately want to hug them, it’s just my first instinct. But usually I just hug people I know well.

  85. It depends on who’s around, some family enjoy hugs, others don’t, I only hug those that are comfortable with being hugged.

  86. I’m a non-hugger of women, I always thought it was because my mother didn’t hug us. But I hug men pretty easily.

  87. I used to not be a hugger. Grew up in a family that didn’t do that, or hold hands or give kisses but a few years ago I found out that my children and husband needed that so I started and now I am an official hugger and love it!

  88. I squeeze my toothpaste in the middle or wherever my hand is when I grab it.. Not too picky..
    Thanks for the contest.

    LynnP

  89. Oh geez, I admit it, I am a hugger! I will hug friends that I haven’t seen in a while if I run into them at the grocery store, I will hug someone if they share some of their great news with me, I hug for all kinds of reasons as my way of showing how much I care for people. If I sense that a person is not comfortable with people being too close, or that they need some space in their own comfort zone, then I won’t give them a hug, LOL! If I am excited to see someone, that’s when I am most likely to give you a nice hug!

  90. I am also a non-hugger. I’ve never liked people in my space either. My husband is the complete opposite, which works well for some reason!

  91. I use Mentident so I don’t know how it squeezes, but if I used a tube I would squeeze from the bottom

  92. I roll from the bottom after repairing it where both of my girls just randomly squeeze whereever they grab the tube I guess.

  93. I squeeze the heck out of it!!
Thanks for entering me! Great Contest!

    Janna Johnson

  94. I squeeze anywhere until it’s running out, then I roll it up from the bottom.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  95. I squeeze my toothpaste from the bottom. My son uses the toothpaste and squeezes from the side so I have to try to fix it when I use it next.

  96. I squeeze from the bottom and when I am finished before I throw it away I cut it open and get a few more brushes from it con5459(at)gmail(dot)com

  97. We buy 2 tubes! He squeezes his toothpaste in neatly, rolling painfully tight from the bottom- me I’m a free spirit- I just grab it, squeeze and go.

  98. I squeeze the middle but every few days sort the contents out squeezing the bottom.

  99. We use one of those Squeeze-It things that go on the tube, they really work

  100. I squeeze it from the bottom – My husband has no rhyme or reason to where he squeezes the tube. Gives me fits!

  101. I squeeze from the bottom. Unfortunately, my family squeezes from the middle. My solution to the problem was purchase the toothpaste that stands upright and you squeeze the trigger. Don’t even get me start about the missing cap to the toothpaste.

  102. Before opening the tube, I squeeze it so all the toothpaste is at the top. Then I squeeze in the middle to put the toothpaste on my toothbrush.

  103. Squeeze in the middle until it’s running out, then I squeeze from the bottom 🙂
