Vote for the Right Change

vote_republican1

Please exercise your free will. Please vote for less taxes, less spending, less government, more personal responsibility.

Remember the 700 billion dollar bailout? Whose to blame? The government! Do we REALLY want MORE government mucking up our lives?! Making our decisions for us? Deciding how to best spend OUR money?? Do we not have brains? Can we not make up our own minds without the government holding our hand? Have we been reduced to this?

We’ve worked hard, shed tears and blood for our great country. Do we really WANT a socialist society? You really want to hand your hard-earned cash over to a sector of society who chooses not to work as hard as you? How will handing them free money/benefits/food/homes/clothes motivate them to want to do better? To make something more of their lives? You think they will want to get out, get a job and make their situations better if we keep handing them things for free? Seriously? Sure, it’s nice to help people, it’s also nice to help people get back on their feet, not support them!

Please vote. Please vote for change. Please vote for the right change.

Thank you.

  1. I got your point, and agree with it. And I agree with both of your political posts from yesterday.

I can understand why you would turn off your comments. I don’t blame you. I’d do it to avoid comments like those you already got that insulted candidates, instead of talking about an actual issue.

I am now returning back to my regular American self, instead of the partisan one that so many of us have been lately!

  2. All I can say is, let’s pray for our country and hope that Obama has the strength to be what we need him to be.

    God bless America.

  3. The beauty of America is that we get to agree to disagree but still be friends. That is what you and I are doing. I’m sorry that you felt it necessary to disable comments on your more recent post because you denied your readers the opportunity to respectfully disagree with you — which is what I’m doing. There is no reason why a discussion of political thoughts and opinions has to digress into a disrespectful, abusive diatribe or argument. I think most people are capable of civil disagreement.

It’s looking like the candidates you backed are not going to succeed. However, Rudy Guiliani was on NBC earlier tonight and said it best: Tomorrow, we cease being Republicans and Democrats & must transform ourselves into Americans. United. Determined. Supportive of our new President & it’s looking right now like that will be Barack Obama.

The best part of that? Buh-bye, Palin. Please go back where you came from so that we never have to see you or hear your annoying twang again. πŸ™‚
