A blog entry – Twitter style.

I think I’m pre-menopausal. I know. You probably don’t want to hear that. But my female regions are doing weird things – it’s like my period is a car with a faulty fuel filter (the jerky stop-and-go movements).

I’m having hot flashes. Like EMBARRASSING moments when I just start sweating, for no reason. This happened when we had our family pictures taken last week. I had to actually step away from the pose and fan myself – it was beyond humiliating.

This can’t be happening to me. Doesn’t menopause only happen to old women? I’m not old. There must be some mistake.

  1. I’m 44 and about a year ago started with hot flashes and Aunt Flo’s visits are down to about 4 days now. I’m enjoying this time as I’m drawing tired of her visits 🙂

  2. The women in my family all started pre-menopausal symptoms in their early to mid 40s, which means that my 36-year-old biological clock with a broken snooze button is buzzing and banging up and down on the nightstand. 🙂
