Spring 2010 Photo Contest!

This photo contest theme is: SPRING / FLOWERS / EASTER / BASKET / GARDEN / MOTHERS / BABY / CHICKS / BUNNIES

Post your picture beginning NOW to 4:00 central time April 23rd.

Show us your favorite spring photograph! But wait, it doesn’t HAVE to be a spring photograph. It can something that represents spring to you in your part of the world. Be creative, be fun – the more original the photo, the better chance you’ll have of winning!

(ADDED: You don’t have to have a blog to play! Do you post your pictures to a photo host like Flickr? Then leave us a link to one your favorite winter photos on your photo host! Everyone is invited to play!)

FACEBOOK USERS: Unless you make your profile available to the public, we won’t be able to see your photos without “friending” you. Linking to a photo on your Facebook account probably won’t work.

Here are the rules. When you have your entry posted, please insert the direct link into the Mr. Linky below. Bloggers/readers are the judges. Please vote for your favorite entry (a voting poll will appear in this post) beginning at 5:00 p.m. U.S. central time April 23rd to 11:00 a.m. U.S. central time April 28th.

The winner will be announced here (as well as emailed) shortly after 11:00 a.m. U.S. central time April 28th and will get to choose one $25 gift certificate to any of the following (winner’s choice!)

Left a photo in Mr. Linky. I hope it worked. It’s a photo of a cardinal that was taking his first Spring bath after I filled up the birdbath. He splashed water all up around him. After he was done, his mate took her turn. I’m sure that felt so good after going all winter without one. Thanks for the chance!

I’ve been looking forward to this…and thinking about what picture I want to enter. I still haven’t decided, but I’ve narrowed it down. I’m looking forward to seeing what others are entering!
