I just got my first pet as an adult on Saturday!! I’m recently disabled so I’m home alone all day until my hubby gets home. My parents bought us a cat for my birthday and I am totally in love. She is absolutely gorgeous, and sweet, and adorable, and I couldn’t ask for a better friend. I’m so excited!!

I have an Australian Shepard named Pippi. She is the cutest dog. Since she is a herding dog, when we take her to the dog park she rounds up the dogs and keeps them near their owners. Needless to say, we don’t go very often. The other dogs don’t get the exercise when we do.
MY CHILDREN HAD A DOG NAMED COCOA WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG
We have a cat named Mr. Clyde Chunk Kittles. He’s a Russian Blue and has feline AIDS. He’s the sweetest and most spoiled thing! 🙂

We don’t have any pets currently – 4 kids are enough work for me right now! When I was growing up though I always had a pet rabbit. My very first rabbit was named Henrietta and I called her Hen. I actually trained her to walk on a leash and took her on walks around the neighborhood.
My pet is a Himalayan cat named Bacall. We also have a Himalayan cat named Bogie who is a few years older and about twice her size. When we got Bacall, she proceeded to take over the place. One day when I put fresh food in their dishes, they came running down the hallway together. She kinda threw out her hip and shoved Bogie (he weighs 14 pounds, she weighs 7) out of the way so that she got to the food dishes first and chose the one she liked best. Bogie really just puts up with her–he is a true gentlemen. We love them both, but Bacall has me wrapped around all four of her paws. I really need to start a website and put up their pictures; maybe over the fall break. THanks for the chance to win!
MY DAUGHTER HAD A GUINA PIG WHEN SHE WAS YOUNGER NAMED “FRED” AND FRED LOVED TOMATOES
I took my youngest male kitty to vet today for a teeth cleaning. I guess he was weirded out & was bobbing his head. Amused the vet staff.
Thanks for the giveaway >^..^<

MY GRANDDAUGHTER HAS A DOG NAMED MAGGIE THAT SHE LOVES DEARLY
My first kitty was a black tuxedo kitty named Dickens. He would talk to me non-stop! He lived up to his name by falling out of windows several times, but we happily co-habitated for many years together. I love the girl kitties I have now, but I do sometimes miss my boy, Dickens.
My Boxer dog, Mr. Manny, is adorable and very goofy!

My two cats, Pam and Coda, are torties who I adopted a few years ago. They are mother and daughter and so very sweet and funny. They love to curl up and look like the yin and yang.
i have a dog, samantha, she’s so cute and smart, i love my baby girl!
I REMEMBER GROWING UP IN KY…WE WOULD FIND ABANDONED WILD ANIMALS AND RAISE THEM…A NEIGHBORING FAMILY RAISED A BABY RACOON, THEY NAMED HER BETTY, AND WHEN SHE GREW UP SHE WAS DESTRUCTIVE IN THE HOUSE FOR EXAMPLE…SHE WENT UP UNDER THE COUCH AND PULLED OUT ALL OF THE STUFFING OR LINING..LITERALLY RUINING THE COUCH
really, really cute. Thanks for the chance.

My dog unfortunately passed away a couple years ago but she was my best friend as a kid and I love her very much.
Hollybee the bunny was on the run as a stray when she was hit by a car and received multiple serious injuries. She was taken to vetinarian Dr Ruthie Bee who didn’t hesitate to try and save her life. Hollybee had a broken jaw, smashed teeth and one of her back legs had to be amputated. Miraculously, after weeks of special care she recovered enough to be adopted and she came to live with us.
Hollybee has the hugest personality in the house and she often has us in complete hysterics. She climbs like a cat and one of her favorite games is to hide in invisible places…picture a small white bunny in a large white bowl…then spring out and crash into your feet. She might spring like a cat, but she crashes like a three legged bunny much to her surprise and disgust. You see, Hollybee believes her body’s completely intact. No invalid mush for her meals, she gums her food down as quick as any hungry bunny and if her right cheek needs scratching her missing back leg does the job just fine…imagine all the wiggeling body movements, just no actual foot doing the scratching. When she grooms herself her missing leg gets equal attention, she doesn’t seem to notice she’s grooming fresh air. She also grooms something invisible on the back of her neck, I’m not sure what’s missing from there, maybe a superhero cape?

I have lots of stories about my pets.
Caspian was our tabby cat. He died from tumors in his liver last February at only 8 years old. Of all of the pets my husband and I have ever owned, Caspian had that extra special something. We will never forget him.
If I remember to comment tomorrow, I could tell you about our killer gerbil, our gorgeous border collie, the cat that followed us home and became ours, the cat that became ours when we were looking for our missing cat and found it instead, or our more recent addition, a little cuddle-bug kitten that I call Rumblepuss even though that’s not what we named him.
