This is the current pie chart (August 4, 11:00 a.m. U.S. central time) for the summer-time photo contest! Cool, eh? As you can see, the top three four (!) contenders at this point are:

3. Karen of Sillymonkeez with 10 votes and 10% of the pie

4. Alisha at Izzy ‘N Emmy with 10 votes and 10% of the pie

Keep checking back and keep encouraging your readers to vote for you! Results usually vary WIDELY from hour-to-hour so you still have a chance to get ahead!

  1. A fair during the last week in July is just crazy! All the heat!

Here in SC, the one in Greenville is always held around Labor Day, which granted, can still be quite warm, but hopefully not as hot as July.

When I was in college, I loved going to the State Fair in Columbia. It’s always held in early to mid October, so it’s nice cool evenings. However, the craziness went into high gear whenever there was a USC football game. The stadium is right across from the fairgrounds, and traffic is beyond atrocious! It was wise to avoid downtown Columbia at all costs. 🙂
