She regretted her decision as soon as she walked into the building.
Nearly everyone else was dressed in either navy or black.
Her multi-colored dress and gold shoes were visible from two blocks away.
She struggled to keep her body language from showing her inner turmoil.
Taking a breath, she sat down and pretended to check her phone for non-existent messages.
Sigh.
She wanted to stick out, and she was certainly drawing attention.
But in today’s job market, you had to take a risk if you wanted to be noticed from the other 100 candidates vying for the same job.
