My question:
How is your personality like your mother’s or father’s?
I would have to say that I get my compassion from my mother. She’s always one of the first people to volunteer for things and to help people out. My mom is also very creative and does a lot with her hands. I’m creative, but my creativity bleeds through my writing.
My father is a very logical, no-nonsense sort of person and I definitely share those same traits. We also lose patience with people and tend to prefer quiet places as opposed to big noisy places. There is no room for stupidity in our lives. π
My husband is so jealous of mine–I would be tempted to give to to him or use it for books on tape-from audible.com
That’s funny because we always say that my brother got all of the good characteristics, while my sister got the not-so-favorable genes hehe. I am a lot like my mom
You know…I’ve never thought of this. I get so much from both of them.
I got my moms gut instinct and I’m so appreciative of it.
I think I get my flakiness from my mother. I get the stubborn, heard headedness from my father.
Definitely my father. Quiet, moody, laid back. π
Oh, my mom and I do share a love of word games – Scrabble, crossword puzzles, etc.
I inherited my dad’s (somewhat strange) sense of humor and his laid-back approach to things.
I’m not like my mom very much, but sometimes I hear her words coming out of my mouth.
Baba: HAHA!
I can laugh, because I can relate. Exactly. π
I share my mother’s worry over financial stability. I share my father’s generosity and love for others. Seems silly to have both in one person but there you have it.
I share my father’s social awkwardness and goofy sense of humor but also his strong work ethic, common sense and probably a million other things that I won’t admit to yet. π He raised me by himself for the most part so he’s had a lot more influence over my personality than my mother has.
I think I got my mom’s dramatic emotions, LOL. But also her empathy, kindness, and definitely her maternal side. Not too sure about my dad though…
I am most like my father. We both like a good joke, are thinking of one hundred things at once and view life as a glass half full. Aloha!
We always joke that I got most of my parents’ good traits and my sister got the bad ones. My love of puzzles came from my dad. My ability to problem solve came from my mom. I’m really grateful for everything they both have taught me π
I have some personality traits from both my parents, but I think a little more from my father.
I would say more like my Dad’s and it has always bothered my Mom. π
My siblings say I’m like my mom but I just don’t see it at all. I can’t even answer this!
