I need to go through and post more of our old videos. These memories shouldn’t be buried in old shoe boxes!

My vlog response:
Please note: When I mention in the video that I have a good life, I do not mean I have a perfect life. By “good” I mean, Kevin and I are older, we’re more established in our job situation (well, he is, I’m working on my situation), we’ve been together for nearly 21 years and we’re comfortable with each other and our boys are teenagers, i.e. semi-independent. Please do not think we haven’t struggled or worked our butts off to get where we are and don’t have room for improvement. We do. We always will. Just wanted to clarify that. π
How Refreshing – Someone Who WANTS To Hear Me Talk
I recorded this little blurb for my in-laws over the weekend. It’s a phone message to try and encourage people to join their Reliv business.
They thought I had a good voice for this sort of thing.
*pause*
I think they need to change the batteries in their hearing aids.
HAHAHA! (Kidding. Sort of).

Day-By-Day Video Version
God Has All Things … But Still, He Wants You
I don’t know, I just have a feeling someone out there needed to see this video today.
No matter who you are now or what you’ve done in the past – God loves you. It’s not too late.
(This group is Barlow Girl – they are a contemporary Christian band and listening to them always blesses me. Perhaps they will bless you, too).
What’s in Your Family Emergency Kit?
In light of what is happening in Egypt right now, I thought this video was pretty timely.

Here is my video response:
Seriously ya’ll, it’s a good idea to be prepared. You NEVER KNOW what you’ll need, or have to do, to protect your family.
Make preparations today.
Do it.
Here are some links you can check out to help you prepare:
Emergency Survival Kit (Again, I don’t want to scare anyone and I’m certainly not one of those people who think the government is all seeing [although …], or wear a tin-foil hat, BUT, again … what if …)
Ready.Gov (WOW, great suggestions!)
Man. After reading through the above site, I have even more to think about! For example, are you prepared in case of:
# Biological Threat
# Blackouts
# Chemical Threat
# Explosions
# Extreme Heat
# Fires
# Floods
# Influenza Pandemic
# Landslide and Debris Flow (Mudslide)
# Nuclear Threat
# Nuclear Threat – Shelter Guide
# Radiation Threat
# Thunderstorms
# Volcanoes
# Wildfires
# Winter Storms and Extreme Cold
# Food Safety In An Emergency
I don’t want to scare anyone, but these things should be taken seriously.
Anyway, think about it; talk it over with your family. Get a plan.
