My (Current) Facebook Profile Picture

Even though I look like a total geek/nerd/egghead wannabe, I like this picture.

Messing Around

AND, I think my glasses do an excellent job of hiding my wrinkles.

BONUS!

Show me your Facebook profile picture. Oh come on, don’t be shy, I really want to see it!

Sidenote: See that blank square in the picture frame behind my head? That’s called too lazy to go through my pictures and print out a good one to fill that hole syndrome. I’m currently seeking help for it. *wink*

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween!
(GD was a clown in 1993).

I stumbled on this GREAT link. It’s scary, creepy and it gave me goosebumps when I watched it so I wouldn’t recommend watching it in front of little children. Shoo them out of the room, dim the lights, turn your speakers waaaay up and enjoy. If you get a chance, browse around the rest of the site. There’s quite a few creepy stories to watch and read. Happy Halloween!

Have a GREAT time with your little ones, tonight! We plan on renting a scary movie and/or some scary games!

From the Past: An Early Halloween

Halloween Past

Let’s see … this was most likely taken around 1973-ish? This looks like I’m about 8, my sister (the little witch – hehe), looks about 5.

My mom made our costumes. She made us a lot of great childhood memories, actually. I was a tiger, in case you were wondering.

ADDED: I just noticed how much bigger my pumpkin is compared to my sister’s. Apparently, I was SERIOUS about collecting my candy. πŸ˜€

Have you ever made a Halloween costume for your child(ren)?

Memory Lane: Jazz Solo, 7th Grade

Jazz Solo - 7th Grade

The kid standing up? That would be MK. He was playing a solo in the jazz festival last year.

He’s still playing strong this year. He’s in band and jazz band and he plans on trying out for pep band (he’ll have to attend 80% of the games!), honors band and he plans on performing in the ensemble contest in the early spring.

It doesn’t look like MK is going to get tired of the saxophone any time soon. Now, if I could only talk him into doing marching band next year in high school …

HIGH SCHOOL?! Next year?! ACK!
