Wordless Wednesday

Wordless Wednesday – Ready to Play Again

I’m still really busy helping my husband cope with dealing with his injuries – I promise I’ll write more over here when I get a chance (things are starting to settle into a routine now).

I did start a Caring Bridge web page for him for family and friends to keep track of his progress, if you care to read about it.

In the meantime, I thought I’d share a positive moment from these past (nearly) four weeks. Kevin’s boss was generous enough to purchase this guitar at an auction for him (Kevin is a guitar player). The guitar is signed by Kenny Chesney and Kevin was so stunned and moved, that he was speechless.

Thanks for checking up on me and my family, everyone. I miss “talking” with you and I appreciate your interest and your prayers. πŸ™‚

I wouldn’t wish this journey on anyone, but here we are and we are coping the best we know how.

Life-condensed

Look! I’m Breathing! (Barely).

I’m still alive. I’ve been super busy taking care of Kevin and haven’t had much energy left to write over here. However, I have been keeping a journal of Kevin’s progress over here, if you’re interested in reading his story.

In the meantime, I need to write MY story. This past three weeks have been one helluva roller coaster ride and I plan on writing about it soon.

But not now. Now, I need to pick kids up from school, get some grocery shopping done, finish a load of laundry and then take dinner back up to Kevin this evening. He gets lonely.

Thanks to all who have sent me well wishes and are praying for us. I can’t even begin to express my thanks and I will be the first to say, your prayers have worked wonders.

Kevin is alive and doing better every day.

Talk to you soon.

God bless.
