(I just read day 9 this morning) Last night, we put the kids in bed early and just spent the evening together. My husband had some business things to do on the computer, but he turned it off so he could be with me. We didn’t do anything – we just sat, talked, and enjoyed each other’s company. We have had a lot going on in our lives lately and have been under a lot of stress – and while we’ve talked “business”, we haven’t talked much else. It was a great way to really connect and enjoy each other!

I know the first rule I need to follow is to be sure I am clear on exactly why I am angry/upset and make sure hubby knows why. I tend to keep things in and then explode over something small, when the real issue is something different (and nuch more important).
