I would like to spend my elder years…..

….living in India or Nepal, high up on a mountain, on a tea plantation. I’d be living in a little wooden house, with the tea-pickers for company. Sometimes I’d help them pick, and I’d learn from them all about the different kinds of tea, and how it’s grown.
And then, other days, I’d teach english to a small group of local children who would come to my little house. They, in turn, would help me perfect my nepalese or erdu, which i spoke as achild but have now forgotten much of.
And at night, I’d sit on the verandah with a cool drink and a book and watch the local birds and wildlife through my binoculars. Bliss!
